Our History
Arthur John and his wife Yvette Dale Rennie established Rennies Panelbeaters CC from humble beginnings in 1985 with a staff of 2 members in his back yard. His passion for quality and service took him to a nearby garage at 180 Austerville Drive, Jacobs, 4052, with 2 work bays and an increasing staff of 5. This passion and enthusiasm to become successful drove him to the doors of Business Partners to apply to rent a workshop for mechanical repairs at a nearby complex, viz 12 Austerville Drive, Jacobs 4052.
His application was granted and a year later he went from 5 staff members to 25. Becoming a successful black businessman was not easy at the time but because of his passion and drive, business was flourishing. He thereafter applied to rent another workshop in the same complex, which was also granted. Three years later, by the grace of God he applied with Business Partners to purchase the entire complex and the offer that was gladly accepted.
Today Arthur John Rennie and his wife are proud sole owners of the entire complex consisting of 7 standing workshops, a boardroom and 6 offices, with a complete staff of 50 members. Still situated at 12 Austerville Drive Jacobs 4052, and now with a new branch at 70 Sage Road, Jacobs, this company continues to grow enthusiastically, always keeping abreast with the ever-changing advancement in technology.
